Hello, travelers! I’m Kadek Agus Setiawan, but you can call me Agus to avoid any mix-ups in the Kadek crowd. Born on a sunny day in August 1980, I am as Balinese as they come, with the warm spirit of the island etched into my soul. I hail from the charming town of Sukawati, a stone’s throw from the cultural heart of Ubud, where the art is as rich as the coffee.
For over 14 years, I’ve been your trusty tour driver, navigator, and unofficial ambassador to all things Bali.
My life’s work? To ensure you fall head over flip-flops in love with my island home. Whether you’re here to surf the waves, meditate in a temple, or simply soak in the vibrant hues of our markets, I’m your man!
But why choose a guide named Kadek, you ask? Well, in Bali, every second-born son is named Kadek, which means I come from a long line of folks who know how to stand out in a crowd—starting with a name that’s anything but unique! It’s a good thing my parents threw in ‘Agus’ for good measure, giving me a dash of individuality in a sea of Kadeks.


When I’m not behind the wheel, you might find me flying a kite with my kids or strumming the tunes of Bali on my guitar. I believe every journey should be as relaxing as a beach hammock and as exhilarating as a mountaintop sunrise.
